How to get through the first five days – and never want to go back.
Be honest with yourself: switching from paste to tablets feels unusual for the first few days. That’s normal and it will pass. Here is everything you need to know – so you don't give up after day 1.
How to use them in 3 steps
- Chew the tablet – put one tab in your mouth and bite down once so that it crumbles.
- Brush with a wet toothbrush – as usual, for about 2 minutes. Your saliva and water will turn the crumbs into a creamy paste.
- Rinse. Done.
One tablet per brushing session is enough.
What might confuse you at first (and why it's okay)
- "It crumbles." Yes – briefly. As soon as the brush is wet and your saliva gets to work, it turns into paste. Tip: Moisten your brush beforehand; don't start dry.
- "It doesn't foam." By design. Foam is a sensation, not a sign of effectiveness – cleaning is done by the brush and the polish.
- "Tastes different." Milder, without the stinging, foamy effect. Most people find this pleasant after a few days.
The 5-day rule
Give the switch three to five days. During this time, your mind gets used to the new routine. After that, chew-brush-rinse becomes as natural as squeezing a tube used to be – just without the tube.
Storage
Store the tablets in a dry place. Simply keep the bag tightly closed and they will stay stable.
Pro tip: If the feeling is too "chalky" at first, you may not have enough water on your brush. Add a little more moisture – and the mixture will become creamier.
