What foam really is

The foam in conventional toothpaste is created by surfactants (often SLS). Surfactants do not clean mechanically—they are there to make brushing feel "clean." A sensory effect, not a cleaning effect.

In other words: You have learned to confuse foam with cleanliness. Understandable—the entire category has trained you to do so.

What really cleans with Denttabs

Cleaning your teeth is primarily mechanical—a brush plus a gentle polishing agent. For this, Denttabs relies on cellulose: a plant-based substance that polishes the tooth surface smooth instead of lathering it up.

The tongue test: After brushing, run your tongue over your teeth. Smooth, like after a professional cleaning? That’s exactly the point. Smooth surfaces give new plaque less of a foothold.

Your fluoride decision — yours, not ours

This is where we do things differently than many others: We don't try to convince you that one variant is "better."

With fluoride (1450 ppm): the most extensively studied active ingredient for remineralizing tooth enamel and protecting against cavities.
Without fluoride: for those who consciously choose against it—based on personal preference.
