The new EU wastewater treatment directive makes official what Denttabs has been emphasizing for over 20 years: Toothpaste contains micropollutants that pollute our environment. A fourth purification stage will filter these out in the future – paid for by the polluters, i.e., the manufacturers. But why do these substances even find their way into our mouths?
