Toothpaste tablets have finally reached the top!

Dental care in the 21st century 

Axel Kaiser from Denttabs has been appointed to the DIN committee for oral care products as an expert on the subject of toothpaste tablets. It is time to question old standards and throw overboard what we believe to be right, for our (dental) health and for our environment.

What makes Denttabs a major game-changer in oral and dental care? 

The main ingredient in our toothpaste tablets is cellulose. It polishes the teeth ultra-smoothly - ideally in combination with a soft toothbrush - right into the gaps between the teeth. And practically nothing can stick to a smooth surface. A mild, plant-based surfactant provides gentle support without foam. Accordingly, teeth and mucous membranes are protected and the absorption of the remineralizing fluoride (NaF) is promoted. 

After consistently switching to Denttabs, users repeatedly describe positive effects, such as a dramatic reduction in inflammation of all kinds, less or no more sensitive tooth necks, hardly any plaque / tartar, and even disappearance of lesions has been reported. 

Denttabs are a certified natural cosmetic product, scientifically tested, and because they are water-free, they do not contain any stabilizers, germ inhibitors and preservatives, etc. that are found in conventional toothpaste but are unnecessary for dental care. This means that the body is not burdened and the wastewater remains clean. Another benefit: the small tablets correspond to a portion of toothpaste (no tube residue), are offered in small industrially compostable bags (no plastic tube) or unpackaged and save at least 80% on packaging and weight. The transport volume/weight and CO2 emissions are correspondingly low. 

If we do the math: Every month, around 1.5 billion (!) toothpaste tubes end up in the trash worldwide without being recycled (in Germany, at least, they are thermally recycled = burned). The corresponding amount of toothpaste, with all of its sometimes critical ingredients, ends up in the wastewater.
